Our Journey

Gulzar Sweets was founded in 1980 by Janab Mohammed Haneef Sahab with a simple yet powerful intention — to serve people with love, honesty, and affordable pricing.

What began as a small sweet shop in the lanes near Charminar soon became an emotion for Hyderabadis. Over the years, Gulzar Sweets grew into a household name, loved for its authentic taste, traditional sweets, and namkeens that have been part of countless celebrations and everyday moments.

One of our earliest and most iconic offerings, Batasha, became synonymous with joy — traditionally served at the birth of a child and during special occasions. This deep-rooted connection with people made Gulzar Sweets an integral part of life in and around Hyderabad City.

The legacy was proudly carried forward by Janab Mohammed Ishaq Sahab, who ensured that taste, quality, and pricing were never compromised. Today, Gulzar Sweets is led by the third generation, driven by the same values and a renewed vision — to serve even better while respecting tradition.
